What an amazing tribute to the first Native American Saint. Amazing collection of artifacts as well. Don't miss the Spring....you can drive there if you don't want to hike it.
Peaceful grounds. Wonderful incorporation of native spirituality in the mass of Kateri's feast day.
Small museum dedicated to Kateri Tekawitha, Native American who was canonized a saint. Surrounding park is well maintained, museum is free. Nice for a quick stop to recognize the history and events that occurred here.
Wonderful, peaceful, prayerful place to go for a few moments or hours to spend time with one of my favorite saints and NY native. It's nice to have such a spot in one's own backyard. Also be sure to visit the North American Martyrs Shrine just down the road in Auriesville--another great Catholic place for prayer and reflection.
A blend of Catholic faith, Native American tradition, and natural beauty like no other place on Earth. Truly a place of peace and healing.
